So most of yall know that I am the LifeLight Photographer. The festival holds some of the credit for me leaving the corporate world and following my dream and calling of being a photographer. I made that decision 8 years ago now, wow. The post I did yesterday is a video by Hip Hop artist Manafest. The song “No plan B” strikes me right in the heart. It’s as if the lyrics were written to speak to me. Kinda spooky. I wanted to share the Chorus that screams out exactly how I feel…
It’s too late It’s my fate
I can’t turn around
There’s no fear, in the mirror
To hold me down
I’m too far, from the start
Now I’m in too deep
I’ve got to stick to the plan
Cause there’s “no Plan B”
No turning back (No plan B)
There’s no other path, (No plan B)
And I know that this road is my destiny
I’ve got to stick to the plan
Cause there’s no plan B
Be sure to follow me on facebook to see photos from the festival!

Seddie is a Senior at Washington High School (My old School!). If you went to school there or are a fan of Warriors football, you know how long it has been since they won a State Championship…never. Come close, but always fell short. Last winter the Warriors FINALLY won! It was pretty cool when Seddie brought along with him the championship trophy and autographed team football. I remember watching Seddie play that game and was very impressed. The first image below is one of my favorites of the summer. Enjoy!

We are always humbled when people drive a distance just to have us be their photographer. Jordan is another Senior from Estelline, SD! He brought along is dog Bullet. Bullet is getting up their in age and I think a bit hard of hearing. Dog’s are like little kids. You gotta make stupid sounds to get their attention. Well it worked with Bullet. Only issue was Jordan couldn’t keep a straight face! Maybe you had to be there, but it was funny!
If there is any question, the flames coming off his helmet ARE REAL! No fake photoshop junk. If you don’t believe me, just ask him. Thanks Jordan, enjoy…
